Well this is interesting to say the least. Tim Linden reviewed Traffic Hoopla and everyone seems to be linking to it. Pretty interesting read, you should definately check it out!

Traffic-Splash

Traffic-Splash Screen ShotTraffic-Splash is making a splash in the traffic exchanges! Owner Paul Kinder has been busy creating contests with other traffic exchange owners, and staying active in the industry with programs like Affiliate Funnel. It consistently gets high marks in rating and ranking services.

Speed is never an issue with Traffic-Splash, the website is always online and ready for action. It is based off the popular TCNTE script so it’s easy to use and find your way around. It’s design is more fun than “professional”, which many appreciate.

What’s unique about Traffic-Splash? Besides the owner who spends every waking hour running contests and creating buzz around the exchange, there is an ultra low 6 second surfbar timer. It’s so low most other exchanges won’t touch going that low, and the few that do definately don’t pull it off with as great results as here!

You can expect a decent amount of emails from Traffic-Splash. On average about one every other day. These emails are not optional, and some do advertise other products or service.

StartXchange

StartXchange Screen Shot Since StartXchange is my favorite exchange, it only makes sense to review it first.  This exchange is one of the older ones, online since 2001.  It’s run by Tim Linden who also runs services like TEtoolbox and Traffic Exchange List.  This in itself is a great reason to use it, he’s got the experience in the industry.

Very few emails are sent out to StartXchange members.  In fact, you get to subscribe to the weekly newsletter but don’t have to.  It’s really recommended though because you receive activity points for reading the emails which help you earn a higher surfing bonus.

StartXchange is very unique in that it is a completly custom script.  Since Tim previously sold TCNTE, it has a similar feel to TCNTE powered exchanges, but isn’t the same.  There is also an active community in the forum, and activity levels which essentially increase your ratio for being active around the site.  It’s also “Hacker Safe” certified and has “Live Support” which is fairly unique in the industry.

Speed is rarely an issue on StartXchange.  It is usually very fast loading, so surfing isn’t a problem. The look of StartXchange is new and improved since years past, giving it a more professional look.  The site is easy to navigate, although some are confused with the surfbar at first (you click either of the two matching shapes).
